Terms of Service

By accessing or using Parish Musician Network (“PMN,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or services.

If you use PMN on behalf of a parish, organization, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.

Parish Musician Network provides an online platform to help Catholic parishes discover musicians and help musicians connect with parishes for liturgical and parish-related music needs. Features may evolve over time.

All users agree to:

• Provide accurate and current account information
• Maintain the confidentiality of login credentials
• Use the platform lawfully and in good faith
• Respect the dignity of others and the sacred purpose of the service
• Promptly update information that becomes outdated or inaccurate

Parish accounts and authorized representatives agree to:

• Use the directory and communication tools for legitimate parish and liturgical purposes
• Treat musician inquiries, invitations, and engagements professionally and respectfully
• Comply with applicable parish policies, diocesan guidelines, and employment or contractor laws when engaging musicians
• Not misrepresent parish affiliation, authority, or liturgical needs

Musician accounts agree to:

• Maintain truthful and professional profile information
• Honor commitments made to parishes regarding availability, compensation discussions, and liturgical service
• Respect the sacred character of Catholic worship and parish environments
• Use uploaded photos and profile content they have the right to share

You may not use PMN to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Harass, defame, or discriminate against others
• Upload malware, spam, or misleading content
• Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, data, or systems
• Scrape, copy, or misuse directory data for unrelated commercial purposes
• Impersonate any person, parish, or organization

We may investigate violations and take appropriate action, including suspension or termination of access.

PMN relies on third-party providers such as Supabase (authentication and data storage) and Vercel (hosting). Your use of PMN may also be subject to those providers' terms and policies where applicable.

PMN provides a connection platform. We do not guarantee the availability, qualifications, conduct, or performance of any musician or parish. We are not a party to agreements made between users unless explicitly stated otherwise.

The website and services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Parish Musician Network and its operators, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100), except where prohibited by law.

You may stop using PMN at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, create risk for other users, or for other legitimate operational or legal reasons.

Upon termination, your right to access the service ceases. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect, including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State in which Parish Musician Network is principally operated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in that jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of PMN after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date on this page.
