- Why I do what I do: I am called to be but a mere spec on a stage not to be seen but for Jesus to be heard. I am but a microphone. Jesus is the one who speaks His goodness and what He wants me to sing. I want only to show the world Him and for the world to hear His good news so tho I may sing on big stages I want to bring people back to the little church pews. Background: Hello I’m Elizabeth I am a full time Catholic singer songwriter for 15 years. Blessed to be a cantor for hundreds of masses, weddings, funerals, & church events such as entertainment for pancake breakfasts, fish fries, lots of Christmas events, etc at multiple churches… Started cantoring many years ago at the 3 churches in St Oscar Romero Parish in Canonsburg Pa then also St Louise in Mcmurrary. Then, when I got married I moved to Maryland and cantored at st John’s in Frederick for a year then at the Grotto of Lourdes in Emmitsburg when we moved and now at my home parish St Ignatius since 2023. I love my church family there very much. Such a welcoming place. Avaulabity: I typically sing for Saturday night masses but only once a month because of other music shows that I do as well but have lots of available times to sing on weekends too and weekdays I do funerals and weddings and some months busier than others some slower months so sometimes I’m more available on certain months than others. But I’ll always do my best to serve through music for your event. For Catholic church youth group/faculty/other events: I sing hymns or Christian contemporary/gospel. Covers and/or Original music from many originally composed albums. Equipment: I provide my own speaker and mic system for outside of Mass church events. I can also provide curtains and lighting as well for events. Training: Trained for 12 years by Mt Lebanon & Carnegie pros in Pa in opera, musical theatre, pop, country, Christian contemporary/gospel music, hymns, kids music, 80s rock, & more. Experience: Other events I performed for as a full time catholic singer songwriter for 15 years include: Recently sang for the NFL drafts in 2026, I sing for many Christmas market events, city partnership events in Pittsburgh Pa and Frederick Md (originally from Pittsburgh Pa so I perform there often) , market square/Mellon square lunchtime concerts, many festivals, parades, markets, fairs like the Montgomery county fair, clubs, kids events/parties/kids costume character parties, beach music events, 80s rock events, musical theatre performances, Broadway music nights, care home performances, opera music events, Leesburg animal park performance, cafes/restaurants,a youth group event, lots of baseball game anthem performances, feature on the CBS News, radio airplay, magazine/newspaper features, & much more Last year in 2025 made a website that does just this exact thing. Connect musicians and churches. I reached out to a bishop but there wasn’t a place for it at the time so it didn’t take off. That’s okay, tho hopefully with both our platforms out there it can help all of us musicians be able to serve the church better.
